Ø     A HIDDEN BITTERNESS – A root that cannot be seen, hidden from view, but will eventually spring up and defile the individual.  Some of the fruits of bitterness can be seen through sickness, cancer, arthritis and rheumatism.

v     WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS ABOUT BITTERNESS:

 

 

¨     Bitterness is known in the Bible as spiritual poison by means, which many are defiled (Hebrews 12:15).

 

¨     It is a source of countless spiritual and physical problems in our lives today.

 

¨     Bitterness can be tricky to recognize because it’s not a symptom or visible on the surface like anger.

 

¨     Many claim that they are not an angry or hateful person, yet that’s not what bitterness is all about.

 

¨     Bitterness is and underlying problem that doesn’t always manifest on the outside, but dwells in that person’s system.
