I think her book was great. It help me look inside myself. And the question that came to me was, AM I CARRYING A ROOT OF BITTERNESS? As I began to read, I saw some things in me that had never been brought to the surface.

I recommend this book to all who is walking around with hatred of someone and can't seem to let go. God is the way and He can help you over come these adversities. Accolades to Mother J. Hooks. This book Rocks!!!

I would like for you to know that I wrote this book under the unction of the Holy Ghost for the sake of bringing people to Christ, to be used for counseling sessions, to help abuse victims, to up-root bitterness, sicknesses, diseases and anger in people lives. It was written to touch the hopelessness, helplessness persons, those that are distraught, those that are trying to overcome hurts, heartaches, pain, those that are seeking for forgiveness and to be used as a deliverance tool. Again, "all the glory and honor goes directly to God for how this book is helping people in their lives!" I truly do not take it lightly....

First, I want to thank Joann for sharing her story. This is an awesome book. For those that hover years of Unforgiveness in their hearts, this is a great guidance into letting go of the deep hurts, forgiving those who wrong you and getting a new start in life. It is a book worth reading and sharing with others afterwards.

Highly Recommend this book!!!

There are not too many books that I have read that you find a avenue or a pathway of release! While reading the book my mind was reflecting on things I was holding. People that I needed to forgive and release from my mental prison. I also love the way Mrs. Hooks presented some of the ways she combatted un-forgiveness in her life.

Reading this book brought memories of a similar incident which happened to me and I didn't realize the bitterness that was left in my heart as a very young child, even after the person had been dead for more than 55 years. This book has freed me and allowed me to go on with my life as a believer. The images of the incident are not as visible as before, since I forgave myself and the individual.
